The shine on the faceted banded sky, white and chocolate Sapphires are one of the first things the eye notices, Amazing stones set in a rustic, brutal style with a wire hug that seems to break the boring usual style adding character to the pieces, an almost otherworldly feel, quasi ancient.
The body in oxidized solid sterling has been cast in Tufa stone as old Native American traditional silverwork, they are thick and no light weight.
The fixed ear wire gives the correct support and adds the additional possibility to loop them transforming them in pendants or focal companion elements for a bold focal piece as well. ;) I never give for granted that what I design it Has to be this way, I leave doors and windows open, never consider that earrings are born just to be earrings since jewelry is a mobile art where a comb can become a pendant... ;) Everything I make is to play with, to wear as is or to transform, to rescue if the time comes that we grow tired of it and want to change it, make it "something else". The no boundaries is for everyone, not just for the maker.
For measurements, the pictures where the earrings rest on the bust show their real size since it is a human size mannequin, some of the other pictures include a standard size business card, a USA quarter coin and a ruler to allow you to have as much idea of their real size as I possibly can provide.
