Atlas- ancient beads, solid sterling collectibles necklace

Atlas- ancient beads, solid sterling collectibles necklace

$200.00Price

Here, a small treat for our ancient beads collectors: Atlas.

The focal element that is Not symmetric and the reason is "poetic interpretation" of Atlas load... The heavens or the sky... aside the small man figure an authentic and very old Pre-Islamic Middle East glass bead -got it from certified sources- and at the top, a solitaire ancient Hebron in pale yellow.

Along the chain, all in solid sterling and separate in segments, real ancient glass beads also from Middle East usually called "Roman glass" in this case in black with small splashes or reds, yellows, etc. (Also from a certifiable source, in this case a Museum. They had been in my collection for ages waiting for a piece to belong to as a myriad of ancient beads peacefully sleeping in huge typo drawers like the ones used in the past to storage the separate letters used to create words and print book or newspapers. )

Ending in a bolder hook, it measures as is 24 1/2 inches long

Anyway the length has been considered like for a man to wear comfortably it could be shortened but not to a Very specific length since segments with beads are complex to accommodate to create a specific number.

The mannequin that holds the necklace for the pictures is smaller than larger men, it is smaller than Eve, the female torso I use for most pieces.

Every batch I add one or two -or more, LOL- pieces with bargain prices, this is one of them.
