This set of two African bone disc beads -older generation, the newer ones seem square/ish with a more rustic/unkept finish- in claw settings are made to be set as pendants, earring large dangles, etc. You can loop the wire on top -specially for soldered chains- to make a bail, or hammer the wire end at your desired length, sand edges -please, lol- and make perforations and voila: Pendants. 
Always remember be considered to details about comfort and sand all sharp/pointy areas.
