If you had time to read the sea glass fairy lantern element description found out that I know somebody that had been in Guantanamo Bay -working- and collected treasures the ocean left on its coasts, including that and this glass pieces. Old, -really- and beach and ocean sanded, with all the mystery hidden of where is really from, how old, how it traveled to here, this large sea glass has been set in pure copper and some nickel silver accent and full of a bluish organic patina like out of a shipwreck... Adding some few beads and chain or cord you can create a nice gift for a friend or something to add at your store for a very affordable price that can provide a nice margin. Hw you price your pieces is not just materials and costs but also work and creativity. I remember long ago somebody complaining about a colleague prices in a necklace made with affordable beads, to which I responded saying that what we pay is not the price of the beads, we pay for how the artist painted with them. This is an affordable -to you- large focal, but also one of a kind, bold and well constructed, you can charge 3 times its value. Same goes for all the destash, it is not what you pay but what you do with it. :)
This is a Large piece, the patina has not been sealed -in case that you want to remove some or all of it with sandpaper- and it measures total no counting the floating bail 106x69x115mm approx.
