Dorje/ish
The elements forming this construction came from Kurt that always surprises me with some small box with treasures. The brass Dorje perforations were not even but... what can we do with this beauty? Everything can be rescued, repurposed, rebirthed...
The Dorje now is a focal element to be worn vertically braised to solid copper on top with two perforations that can be used or to "hook the line" for beads, textiles, chain, ect. OR to add dangles with beads, crystals, feathers, etc.! And use the top adding a bail. ;)
At the Dorje center, nickel silver wire adds some rustic look and wilderness while at the bottom a prongs set dyed druzy with some white spots -you could paint it with nail polish or even pencils but I liked it as it is...- adds a rose intense bling creating an interesting whole. The brass when torched acquires a copperish palette that I kept intact in some areas adding character.
You can add patinas if desired since all the elements are solid real metal and not a pewter or other soft alloy with a plating.
It measures 93 x 51 x 12 mm approx.
