Merkabah. Sterling, amethyst Merkabah, raw amethyst, OOAK

$160.00Price

I fell in love with lanterns and cages a long time ago. Like treasure chests one can spy inside, they seem almost magical to me; fairy lamps, fishermen's floats... Copper was a test run. How they can form, what they can contain, forms, shapes... and now, Sterling it is!

No light weight but comfortable, Merkabah earrings got the name from a carved Merkabah amethyst floating in one of the cages. I got several different crystals fascinated with the meaning and shape. Merkabah, in the Bible refers to the chariot Ezekiel described (1:4-26), "The Chariot of God", how intriguing!!! For others, Merkabah , is the symbol result of combining two opposing tetrahedrons to form a Merkabah Star, or Star Tetrahedron, considered as an energy matrix surrounding the aura that strengthens the alignment between the mind, body, and Soul.

The other cage holds a raw amethyst crystal in an almost lavender color, creating an asymmetry but with a cohesive palette and structure.

The cages, made in solid sterling, dangle from curled wires full of motion creating a beautiful effect.

For size, the pictures show the earrings on top of a standard size business card, a USA quarter coin and a ruler.

No dainty, no excessive.
