Made by scratch, this large thin brass -not flimsy, just thin- mixed media focal has a natural vintage to old turquoise -I Think it is a Chinese turquoise, it is not dyed and doesn't seem magnesite nor artificially created stone, but I'm not a mineralogist and just can give an approx. idea. The face is a polymer clay aged to create the idea of something chipped my time as old beads and statues do. 
It is a destash, Might require some sanding to finish the top areas where torched the metal to create that particular curved folding effect. If sanded to remove patinas, be creful with the face, it is pigmented and not sealed to allow natural patinas to keep working on it adding aging effect.
It measures 102x 52mm approx.
