Silk is a Real natural silk worm cocoon in a solid copper fold formed cage -designed originally to be set with the "pods" as companion like on the last picture, pods not included, the listing is just for the silk pod- in a surprising and fun element that is itself a great conversation starter. 
Small for my usual standards, was designed for a delicate piece with white pearls but decided to share it as is instead since had already lot of finished necklaces and it was time to "start taking the pictures", hahaha. I MIGHT make some others to incorporate on pieces anyway they will never be identical.
This cocoon has a no centered bail -that you can clip off and use in a different way- to add a more natural organic feel and how it falls from a strand or chain. The picture with the white line shows where the gravity line is and how is tilted.
It measures no counting the bail approx. 47 x 25 x 26mm
