Mbaba Mwana Waresa was a fertility goddess of the Zulu religion. She is a goddess of the rainbow, agriculture, rain and beer… and the idea for this assemblage of an original African brass mask pendant and… well… elements. On a base of hard heavy gauge pure copper hammered and torched this piece has soldered also “earrings” aside the mask -Well, is a Goddess!!!- and copper dangles with beeswax stabilized with resin -or would melt- and copper bells from Afghanistan, a coyote tooth, a dotted Tibet wood and bone bead and lots and lots of organic naturally provoked patina. If it is “too much” a brush can remove some… the piece was ALL patina provoked so even the dangles have the same textured greenish surface.

6 x 3 inches, bold and extra tribal. Of course, One of a Kind…
