The magical glow opalite has it seems difficult to pair, its prism feel, the way the light reflects and transforms on it from blues to whites to even fire orange on the surfaces where the sunlight penetrates it... It is some not just magical but ethereal, seraphic in it.
Inspired in its empyrean feel, the bold solid sterling and solid kiss of gold fused on it with nature's forms was born. Branches, a star, the sky... pearl drops, a solitaire faceted opalite aside, a shape with the feel of the moon or the sun and it felt ready, done, alive. 
The solid sterling focal was cast in pieces joined together on the bench in a fuse/solder way and the gold is not Keum Boo but a solid thin sheet fused to the sterling and it will not fade, just be more noticeable if the natural patina grows overtime.
The opalite beads are mostly contemporary with the exception of the long beads that are collectible trade beads.
It measures around the neck 23 inches, but it can be shortened to your desired length, just let me know.
