Visionary- Bold Labradorite, solid sterling and shibuichi accent ring
And all started with the small humans casts and my first cast Shibuichi ring -now Kurt's!-...
I loved the effect, the uneven band, how I can carve a piece and then cast it and then file, remove, add... and like magic what it was old coins molten on a crucible become a solid, different thing. I might have a simple mind because everything amazes me. It doesn't matter how sciences explain a phenomena, the fact that seen it in action triggers more curiosity.
The video might explain lots better what I can describe with words, anyway here I go...
Visionary has a small shibuichi cast with a feminine form watching the horizon with her hand covering the light that seems to shorten the view... aside, a large blue and green fire labradorite faceted stone adds a mirror feel, a lake breeze, maybe oceanic, maybe mystical all in solid heavy Sterling silver.
It weighs 24 grams, counting stone and shibuichi accent.
Large size, it fits a finger USA size 10 1/2 approx. It can be extended a bit removing material fro inside with sanding and polishing. I can't reduce it.
